It's actually the first time in his presidency that he actually acted presidential.

Not that this will change my mind about him, but he handled this response the way that a president should. No better, no worse.

He's pretty much a non factor and doing nothing wrong at this point. There is a time and place for politics but this too much in the public to do wrong.

Thanks for your even-handed response. I agree.

That said, I expect there will be plenty to criticize him. Just wait.

Presidents really doesn't do anything. They look around, and nod, and that is all. The state and local government disaster relief agencies are doing their jobs, no one is going to be asking for 0bama's advise. This is one of those times where the work is done from the bottom up.

Seriously, what exactly do presidents do during natural disasters like this? What did 0bama do when Tennessee suffered that massive 100 year flood, or when Texas was on fire? When the twin towers were knocked down, Bush gave some nice speeches, but he played no part in the clean up.

He has done a decent job I believe...however this one act of looking presidential does not warrant 4 more years of dismal, distant, disjointed and self serving leadership. So I agree with you.

He's just doing it to score political points before an election. To get another photo op to make it look like he's doing his job. Oh wait that was Romney.

I don't hear anyone knocking him for what he is doing about the storm. It's what he did about Benghazi that is being criticized.

Yes indeed. That was when we did need our president to be proactive and engaged, and he uses hurricane Sandy to say as Americans " we leave nobody behind." <sigh>
