Sour grapes is hard to digest, even worse when coupled with crow and wine.

Because many here are only pro-democracy when things go their way.

But not as much as there was in the distant past, i.e. yesterday. Some of the most prolific and vituperative posters have inexplicably and abruptly disappeared.

welcome to the forum. Lots of hard right and hard left here. The party above all and name calling when all else fails in a debate.

But that is not the norm in America. Most Americans are apathetic and don't give a damn about politics.
Out of a nation of 300 million plus, and over 200 million eligible voters, a mere 59 million put Obama back into office.

No sour grapes here. Just worried about my future and the future of my country with the incompetent leadership we have just put back in office. After four years of disaster and we ask for more.

There totally is! I admit I'm one of the apathetic ones and I didn't vote and I really don't care. I believe all politicians are evil liars and that's just my opinion.

In many cases that apathy seems to be self-defense.

In my Congressional district, one candidate ran ads accusing the other of supporting the 'death-tax' while the other ran ads saying he consistently fought against the 'death-tax', I don't think we ever came close to the truth on that one.

If we had to research every little issue for each candidate it'd be a full-time job...............................with OT.

When I was typing at first I mistakenly typed 'Confessional' district.

Now that I think about it, I'd kinda like it that way.
