What a hateful, unpatriotic thing to say. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I do not understand why you are so happy about this and counting down to it.
She is not counting down hoping it will happen in fact they voted the other way hoping and praying it wouldn't. Yes have your laugh.

Right wingers are realistic, we don't live in the world of "should". Right wingers understand their own finances and the economy better. We spend and save etc according to our economic means and the economy. Conservatives don't think we are owed a living and just because we live in America does not automatically guarantee us a job. We understand that we are hired to provide a service so we educate ourselves to increase our marketability. We also understand if the company we work for does not do well regardless of why, if they are in hard times or go broke we will lose our job so we want our company to do well.

Many of us have been prepared for a long time and waiting it out. We had hoped Obama would not get re-elected. Too bad, we would have rather been spending and circulating our money through the economy, hiring but Obama was re-elected and because we are realistic we will go into another recession.

This is why left wingers are a very angry group of people. They live in the world of should instead of living in reality.

That's a falsehood.

The Student Loan legislation in Obamacare does
nothing to alleviate student loan debt taken out before it's enactment. It's not retroactive.

Anyone with a student loan still will not be able to discharge it in bankruptcy court.
Previous loans before enactment are not off the hook, taking up to a lifetime or garnishment of social security.
Only NEW loans allow 20 years before cancellation and still would have to pay tax
on balance at end of twenty years.
Or cancellation if they can show undue hardship, which usually means showing 100 percent disability.

New loans have incentives: if work as teacher in shortage areas (inner city, rural), military,
other qualified gov. jobs will be cancelled after 10 years of continuous service.

Unfortunately there will be a line for these jobs.

There is a movement to allow students to discharge loans in bankruptcy court,
just like any other consumer unsecured debt but that hasn't happened yet.

Now, students may have voted for Obama thinking otherwise, but these are the facts.

He plans to throw a whole lot of money at the problem. Instead of decreasing tuition by getting the government out of the financial aid, he's got this plan to pay big money to those colleges that offer lower tuitions -- shifting the costs of tuition to the taxpayers instead of the students who benefit from their eduations.

It may. But that will not necessarily be caused by the Bush tax breaks expiring. It is more likely to be influenced by seasonality and return of job seekers to the labor market.

You can delay, delay, delay, but how smart is that?

Your problems are like bone cancer. You want to delay treatment for as long as possible. Is that to your benefit?

Nope.

If Obama would be a real leader, he would have simply told you how it was. UE benefits? You get your standard 13 weeks from State and 13 weeks from federal and then start pounding pavement or cleaning your house.

The FICA tax holiday? Stupid. It must end, and when it does, you're going to pay for it.

Extending the Bush Tax Cuts so that they become the Obama tax cuts? Equally stupid, and you'll pay for that as well.

You cannot pay for Social Security, and you cannot pay for Medicare, and so the smart thing to do, of course, is ram Obamacare down everyone's throats, even though you cannot pay for that either.

The whole country needs to suffer, because the whole country has been acting stupidly for more than 20 years. It's time you reap the stupidity you have sown.

It is a global economy; unless you intend to enact a Maximum Wage Law limiting wages to $15/hour there is no way you can compete globally; you cannot enact protectionist tariffs, you cannot punish companies for off-shoring jobs, there are no amount of incentives you can offer companies to return jobs to the US, unless the incentives were equivalent to a Maximum Wage Law of $15/hour so get over it already.

I told you all back in 2007 you were going to permanently lose 5.0 Million to 5.2 Million jobs....you've lost 7.1 Million.....I was wrong.....sorry 'bout that noise....I'll try to be more accurate in the future.

Get with the program....it's called Global Equalization.....it's about achieving equilibrium....you can't stop it or alter it....so just accept and embrace it.

In the meantime, sucks to be you.

Economically...

Mircea
Unfortunately for us; you are correct!
