Take your best guess. I'm shooting for 8.5%, with 9-10% by next summer.

I think we might be OK in November only because of short term holiday hiring but your estimate of next summer is probably close.

The hate for Obama and the shock that he could be re-elected, obviously ignoring facts seems to go hand in hand with the Cons.

Sooner or later, all of us will learn that voting for the wrong person does have consequences.

9.5 and 12.0 by next summer.

This will not end well.

Impressive, isn't it?

The sheer eagerness for bad economic news is just oozing from the post. It's palpable, the aching desire they have for people to suffer just so they can triumphantly gloat "I told you so!".

Is there any doubt that, given the choice between an excuse to gloat and a steadily improving economy under President Obama, that they'll take the gloating every time?

All out of a petulant vengeance that they didn't get their way on election night...

Why? Fall and Spring are typically the best months out of the year for hiring, such has been the case for 50 some years. It is quite rare for unemployment to rise in the final three months of the year barring a recession or other extraneous circumstances.
