Well at least single women will still have access to abortion and to govt funded contraception.
Equal opportunity does not mean equal outcomes.

If your organization has a policy or practice that doesn't benefit minorities equally, watch out: The Obama administration could sue you for racial discrimination under a dubious legal theory that many argue is unconstitutional.
President Obama intends to close "persistent gaps" between whites and minorities in everything from credit scores and homeownership to test scores and graduation rates.
His remedy — short of new affirmative-action legislation — is to sue financial companies, schools and employers based on "disparate impact" complaints — a stealthy way to achieve racial preferences, opposed 2 to 1 by Americans.

On the surface at least, this sounds beyond ridiculous. But I can't say I'm that surprised.

People can't choose what race they're born into. The Feds have no business trying to influence things that should not be based on that in the first place.

I don't know why this would surprise anyone, just as the Supreme court is looking at tossing affirmative action out Obama and company had to find a way around that.

Hard for whites and house coons to understand, they'll never get it, these issues existed long before Obama was elected but he's smart he's targeting people who were angry about this from day one, sounds like a sound working approach to me.

Look at this administration's answer to NCLB. They have RTT.

You have schools that got out of the NCLB mandates by switching over to RTT.
RTT says you need to measure but not everyone needs the same goal.

And you recall that Florida school that came out with the different goal posts based on race because it was all over the MSM. What wasn't all over the MSM is that over 30 states are doing the same because RTT lets them.

We couldn't achieve NCLB even with lowering the bar....certain groups of children still fell behind.
So now we have different bars based on race.

What happens in the schools eventually permeates into the rest of society over time.

What happens to society when everyone is a winner but they all ran different races with different goal posts ?

And you wonder why companies have gone to other countries to employ foreigners to produce their products.

And a policy such as this is not considered racist? Especially when it is race based?

We now see the racist nature of this administration.

...and saying "equal opportunity" doesn't always mean that it actually exists in all situations.

I agree. The "equal opportunity" are empty words in many situations.
I don't agree with the different goal posts though.
I would agree with different proportions of money going to help these groups rise to a common goal post which promotes "equal opportunity".
