I guess us Libs are not surprised by the fact that he will testify. It's the GOP conspiracy theorists (many of which I have seen on CD) ~ that put forth the idea that this WHOLE affair was dreamed up to take the focus off the real thing and that, simply by resigning, Petraeus would not have to testify.

I always thought that he would have to testify in this matter.

Not only that!! The total incompetence that allowed 9\11 to even happen. Bushy was warned but he was chopping firewood in Crawford Texas 5 days a week and didn't have time to be a real POTUS.

The GOP did so much mud slinging - and STILL couldn't make it stick! Clinton became more popular than ever - when will you learn? People still love him; where was W. during this whole campaign? His own PARTY doesn't even want to associate with him.

And - how many of those pointing the finger - were later shown to have their own skeletons in the closet. It was truly laughable what came out later about the ones who were screaming the loudest.

Repubs - that was not your best move ever - sorry.

You have a higher chance of being accepted into MIT than Obama being impeached.

When you say "OUR" president what are you inferring?

Clinton was impeached due to perjury (federal offense) although not removed from office. No big deal though if you're a democrat or democrat supporter, eh?

Clinton commits perjury and cheats on his wife, impeached as President, no big deal.

Petraeus admits to cheating on his wife and is forced to resign, coincidentally immediately before having to testify about Benghazi, must burn in Democrat hell

Petraeus is an old GOP favorite - they LOVE him. All I hear from the Repubs is how GREAT he is. So . . . we'll see.

Obama will be impeached because the voices in JCS' head said so.
