I have no faith in Petraeous as he has shown himself to be an dishonorable man.

Fox: Petraeus to Testify
First of all, he isn't agreeing to testify like he had a choice. He has to testify, thats what a subpoena means.

Secondly, I doubt greatly that anyone is going to drop an impeachement bomb shell.

Incompetence is not an impeachable offense.

I sure don't think incompetence was involved.

Negligence could be. If the CIA was detaining people, against its own rules, and the president knew about it, this could certainly turn ugly real quick.

The fact that this was a secret CIA outpost and it had detainees that they were questioning reeks of extraordinary rendition.

Now, I don’t know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually, um, had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that’s still being vetted.

According to a source on the ground at the time of the attack, the team inside the CIA annex had captured three Libyan attackers and was forced to hand them over to the Libyans. U.S. officials do not know what happened to those three attackers and whether they were released by the Libyan forces.

It has been my understanding that the CIA "compound" wasn't on the grounds of the Consulate which is why it took them 25 minutes to respond to the attack.

Good, bad, or ugly, an Executive Order only pertains to agencies of the executive branch as a result the President can violate, contraindicate, or otherwise ignore his or her own order without jeopardy. An executive order is not law. Just say'n.

That is exactly what they wanted you to think. Dishonor the man prior to his testimony and walla when he blows the whistle they can just say oh he's just some disgruntled general who was forced to step down spouting sour grapes. What is a disgrace is how they treated a career military man who served his country his entire life over Obama's screwup. Sickening.

Romney leads 51% to 45% among the much larger group of voters who plan to vote on Election Day, Nov. 6.

As for your convoluted conspiracy theory; if you want to disgrace a man you don't accept his resignation, you demand it.

They knew about it months ago. Why not dishonor him then? Oh wait they didn't need to. What were you squeaking about again?
