Simply amazing. Does she not realize this is a horrible economy and when the company closes, all of those union members will have a hard time finding new jobs? Or does she just not care since she still gets paid by the union either way? The president of the Memphis bakery union admitting they were trying to force Hostess out of business:

Letitia Malone said of Hostess Brands. "We're actually looking to push them out of business and let another company take over."
I can't believe that she said that on record.

Nobody, but that's a non-issue for the Union rep. As long as she has workers to represent (and I use that term very loosely), she doesn't care who they are. Clearly in her mind, they're just a bunch of replaceable parts in the machine.

Hopefully, any "new owners" will be smart enough to learn from the mistake of Hostess and other companies, and will not sign any contract with any person or union that pays employees any salary or benefit for years after they stop working.
