If there was nothing to violate, then why did the armies of all the surrounding Arab countries enter the Mandate in 1948? It wasn't mandated to them. By the end of their incursion they took and annexed two regions of the mandate into their countries.
The Arab armies did not enter the Mandate. If they had, they'd have found themselves fighting the UK. They entered Palestine after the Mandate expired in order to defeat the Jewish militias, i.e. the proto-IDF. Palestine was not, at that time, "mandated" to them or to anybody else.

Was this government set up under the aegis of UN Res. 181? Obviously not, since that was already (in your terms) moot, (in my terms) null and void.

Thus the bordering Muslim countries were doing a land grab for themselves no matter who the residents were and still lost to a bunch of pipsqueak Jews.
Well, if this "child" was a sixteen year old wearing a mask and carrying a slingshot and running around an area where there was a riottttimean, protest going down, knowingly looking and acting exactly like the people the IDF were deployed to contain, then yes, they would have most likely gotten beaten.

The Palestinians are being used to fight a proxy war between the Arab League and Israel. Apparently Palestinians prefer this kind of environment, or they would not have elected first the PLO and then the Hamas terrorist organizations. Israel is merely giving them more of what Palestinians obviously prefer - death and destruction. Only an idiot would openly support terrorism and then claim to be a victim.
