The point is that no "viral video" is needed, expected, or wanted, just as i'm sure this officer didn't want or need it, either.

You suggested that this Officer could not have been a liberal or Democratic, now you say that "NY is the mecca of liberalism"!!!
I think Officers tend to be more conservative for the most part no matter where they live....But for argument sake...lets say he was a liberal...I wonder how many 1000's of liberal phonies in NY walked by and looked the other way...

When I visited New York, everyone was so kind and went out of their way for me. So, the stereotypical hype you hear about New Yorkers, did not happen.
This cop did a great thing. There are many unsung heroes in New York that work the beat. This one just happened to be captured on a cell phone...
Hopefully that inspires more of us to give, when another human being is suffering, as this gentlemen did, with frozen feet in New York during the winter time...
