Then your statements are irrelevant to this thread, since that particular act of kindness is what we are discussing.

I do things like that, also, and I am not Christian.

And there was no video. It was a photograph.

Kudos to the officer for a random act of kindness.

I've got to give the urban outdoorsman some credit, too. If it's shoes you need, what better place to hang out than outside a Sketchers shoe store!

It's good to see boots are still allowed in NYC because if the guy was thirsty and the cop bought him a Big Gulp...

Wow, how rude.
Way to minimize a kindness.

Then you just contradicted the whole premise of your post....

You suggested that this Officer could not have been a liberal or Democratic, now you say that "NY is the mecca of liberalism"!!!
I think Officers tend to be more conservative for the most part no matter where they live....But for argument sake...lets say he was a liberal...I wonder how many 1000's of liberal phonies in NY walked by and looked the other way...

When I visited New York, everyone was so kind and went out of their way for me. So, the stereotypical hype you hear about New Yorkers, did not happen.

This cop did a great thing. There are many unsung heroes in New York that work the beat. This one just happened to be captured on a cell phone...

Hopefully that inspires more of us to give, when another human being is suffering, as this gentlemen did, with frozen feet in New York during the winter time...

Hopefully Liberals will heed your advice and not always look to Government for handouts as the solution...

Hopefully obese conservative redneck women and men will get off their fake disabilities and get jobs, too, instead of the blue states supporting them and their eating habits.
