Details of Bellevue cops' behavior after getting drunk on Pink Panty Droppers - Blog - MyNorthwest.com-
Bellevue officers' acts at game led off-duty cop to prepare to intervene | Local News | The Seattle Times

I live in Bellevue, WA, an idyllic suburb of Seattle of about 125,000 folk. A couple months ago a couple of Bellevue's finest attended a Seattle Seahawks game in Seattle. All hell broke loose.

Two male officers and their wives, one a Bellevue detective and the other a Bellevue utiity worker, started drinking around 9AM and headed off to a Seahawks game. From there it was one snafu after another. They got into an altercation with a female SPD officer before the game. Then got kicked out of the game. Then another altercation after the game, and then finally driving home drunk.

They admitted they had a lot to drink, but couldn't recall exactly how much they consumed before the game. Along with the Bloody Marys and Coors Light beers, they had shots of whiskey and "Pink Panty Droppers." Officer Hanke later described that drink to Bellevue investigators as one-fifth of vodka, eight beers and lemonade in a two gallon jug. They made two batches of "panty droppers."

A season ticket holder in section 344 says as they took their seats Hanke said to Robertson something about "these blacks. They think they run the show."

The upshot--the officers will retain their jobs but will lose their bomb-squad duties, along with the extra pay that entailed. Justice, 21st century-style.

Too many cops have no sense of conscience or shame.

Seattle attracts a lot of former Californians who become cops and who are helping to ruin the Evergreen state.

update--one of the cops, a guy named Hanke, was caught driving drunk again several weeks ago. He was pulled over, IIRC by an off-duty Bellevue officer who recognized Hanke's SUV. Hanke was indeed plastered. The off-duty cop called Hanke's wife and allowed her to drive him home w/out citing him.

After that incident Hanke finally decided to resign, but the others are still on the job.

We have a dual-caste system. Public sector workers, and private sector workers, with cops being generally at the top of the public sector caste.

A normal person would be serving jail time and/or knee deep in fined.

These officers get off scot free and will go back to busting people for the exact same sh*t they do.
