Are kids and teachers forbbiden to have a Bible on their person and read it in their personal times in American Schools ? I assumed the separation of State and Church only applied to Official Business such a preaching on public property for example ot perhaps even outward symbols ?
I believe everyone should be entitled to their faith be it in prison , the office or school as long as it is not official business and is not part of the official fabric of the institution. Ie prisoners, prison guards , teachers, kids etc... should be allowed to read the Qur'an, Bible, whatever scriptures they so wish in their own private times ( lunchtime or breaks for example in schools).
Any publically funded institution should remain religion neutral in its official capacity .

There is no ban on bringing religious books of your own into schools to read on your own. The OP is contending as fact something that isn't even so.
I'm going back to the war on Christmas thread, it's more fun than this one.
