A gun, or a knife or some fertilizer products do not present someone with the idea of killing.
A video game, a movie, some books and other people certainly present the idea of killing - even mass killing. The video games even give a type of experience - Even the military is now using them.
So, it's the individuals themselves that develop the idea of killing. People against guns probably never owned one. They don't seem to understand that people have a personal reason for owning one - Hunting, protection or whatever.
But, there are always the people that will go to an extreme and use them wrongly.
What about mass rapists?....That's a problem. There's just too many penises and vaginas in the world (there's female rapists) - Lets get them out of society.
How about "Turn in a gun and get a free castration" Males and females welcome (females get circumsized)
We'll certainly cure Aids and STDs
How about cars, motorcycles and even bikes - Think of all the lives and body damage caused by them. We'll have only mass transportation - no exceptions.
And how about dogs and cats - in the USA there are about 1 million bites from attacks each year - many causing great damage, and deathm - very often to children. It does not matter if it is mostly some irresponsible dog owners - Even one is too many and everyone has the potential to become irresponsible sometime in their lives - Kill all the animals - No one really needs a dog or a cat. And they are dangerous.
Let's really make a list of thngs that will prevent unwanted deaths, and get them out of society.
Airline travel - one accident takes more lives than any 15 mass murderers- Where the hell do people really have to go anyways?...We got the Internet now - Get a little video camera, gather the family around and say good-by to grandma before she drops dead at the hospice...But the point is, it will save lives.
