As the Op was saying. There are people that just cannot roam around the majority of population when they're not mentally equipped to do so.

I agree that we are seeing repercussions that the budget slashing, institution closing politicians in the 70s could never have imagined. I agree that we don't have provisions for young men known to be violent and antisocial - we just have to wait till they do something horrible before they can be locked up.
But do we really want to return to institutionalizing everyone who is a bit different?
And I can't imagine arming every teacher. Not because I don't think that any responsible adult who wants to carry shouldn't be able to; I believe that they should. But dozens of guns in each school, in classrooms full of kids who weren't raised around guns, have never been taught gun safety, and only know about spraying their enemies in their video games with hundreds of rounds? No, I think that would be more dangerous than the status quo.
I feel that we are shambling around blindly in the dark. On one hand, there is the evil that is a totalitarian government, with powerless subject. On the other, innocent lives ended too soon.
I agree with your title. We are a sick society in many ways.
No people are just obsessed with the scum of America..... we're all pretty normal, but some people just use the scum to represent us for whatever reason.
Good luck with that. Most school boards are cutting back on expenses and can barely make payroll.

A grass roots action for a universal service if you will aimed at really putting some teeth in No Killing ZONE because only a fool would walk into a school that is better armed and trained than the local PD!

To me, it is a symptom of the "sick society" that some folks will use the horrendous deaths of these innocent babies and teachers as a platform from which they can spout their political hatred. Talk about sick!!!

Epic FAIL
Unfortunately most schools hire private security now and they contract with the lowest bidder. You have people able to pass a drug test and basic criminal history making $8/hr that are security in many places.
Some just want the appearance of security but not the real thing.

A point will come when it will be impossible for me to reply to each one who has ideas.
I hope i get some help but with positive replies and all positive ideas.... I know many of my pals are hard core right gun men and i want you to take pause and think before you speak.
