Wouldn't be a buying craze the Democrats not promised to ban guns and whatever else they will try to. If the government said it was going to ban cigarettes I'd be buying as many cartons of cigs as I can.

I just said that the price increase is a result of all the paranoid running for the supplies.
Princes are going up because all the paranoid idiots are buying up the supplies. Supply + Demand = price. It's all speculation. Stocking up on ammo now is like stocking up on water in anticipation of 12/21.
I remember in early 2009 I wanted to go shooting but couldn't because ammo selves were bare. This time I can at least go if I decide to, though .223 and 9mm is scare already.

I used to work at Wal-Mart, at the home office in Bentonville.
I can't swear to what Wal-Mart is doing today, but I can guarantee that they regularly did raise prices in the past.
I don't think too many survivors will be openly wearing Obama stickers if that happened.
