We're talking about a confirmed bachelor, bachelorette! No First Lady, No First Man!

Would we be able to survive that?

Sure. I vote based on my perception of the candidate's integrity and on the candidate's policies. I don't vote based on which demographic the candidate belongs to. I understand that some people feel that a good family person has qualities that a single person lacks, but I don't agree with it.

Sure, I tend to vote based off their track record and if their ideals and political goals match my economic and social opinions.

Absolutely. Single people tend to be more focused on their careers.

At least when he/she is found to be involved in some sexual "misconduct" we wouldn't have to wonder if or why the spouse is sticking with them ala Hillary.
