looking back how strange to mention both in the same sentence. Take our guns first and what would be next?

I find it odd that growing up in rural America we went to school with guns in our trucks and hunted after school. We carried buck knives in school. We had a rifle and archery club (they still do). We stood up each morning and said our allegiance to our flag. We had prayer clubs and christian youth clubs. Through all that I don't remember experiencing any of the craziness we have today.

It does make one wonder what is different now than then..

Crossfire we also took our.22 's to school left them unloaded in the car trunk and shot river rats after school. I carried a Case pocket knife...we also said the LORDS PRAYER and had disciplinary measures ...the good old days.
