In the last census, they were counted. The Govt. went out of their way to get them to complete the forms in order to get a more accurate accounting of people living in the US. They even had the Latino Action groups helping them making sure the people knew that they would not face deportation if they fillled out the form. And it isn't the white population that should be worried about this as much as the black population should be since they;re more at risk than the white population due to their already lower % numbers.

If the blacks are the ones that are going to come on out the bad end of this, then you wouldn't give a damn anyway, so this post is a load of bull. Since when do whites care about potential peril for blacks? Uh...NEVER!!
No, YOU'RE worried for white people, and want blacks to join in the xenophobia and racism. You think this is gonna affect whites the most, and you know it. You don't want them to lose what power they have.

Census are taken to determine # of representatives, nothing more.
This is absolutely false. Census data is also used for distributing federal funds to states and communities. Also, the data is widely used by planners.
