It is strange that you guys suddenly picked up math skills and knows how to read data.

Firstly the data and conclusion presented are accurate.

Secondly for you gun grabbers, if we ban all the guns, do you anticipate we can get rid of 10k murders at least?

That is the beauty of Fox News' delivery system... and shining example of its faithful recipients.

That's assuming the most susceptible to the lie will click on the thread, rather than seeing the title and going "Aha! Confirmation of my beliefs! I don't even need to read this!"

To be fair to Fox, they do say "Rifles" in their headline.

Are the rifles like the one used in Newtown not rifles? It sounds like you are wanting all rifles used to kill people with classified as assault weapons.

I didn't click on the Fox Nation link but I sure did on the one that tells only truth. I also found that just above the info was an indication that it may have come from Slate and I question things from that source more than even Fox.

I think that's enough said.. Maybe Bloomberg was right and we should register any knife over 8" or hammers over 14 ounces..

Liberalism the new Mental Illness..
No, not at all!!!! The new mental illness and it's not really new at all is stupidity. If ten million people a year die from Caffine it has NOTHING at all to do with GUNS.

Same thing as cars. 60,000 or so die on the roads every year but what does that have to do with guns?
NOTHING AT ALL!!!!

It seems to be a default position of the lunatic brigade. Meaningless, stupid and irrevevant comparisons.

"Ah, duh... we should ban 2 by 4s if we are going to try to control firearms.

"Ah duh... we should ban horses if we are going to control guns!!! Horses are dangerous ya know!!!

Are you people smarter than a grade 5????? You are not smarter than a grade -5.

No, nor the FBI. Maybe all of those FBI stats are bogus and there really aren't that many murders in the USA.

this info is readily available with a quick google.
22,000 homicides a hear
37% of homicides are non gun related.
of all homicides, 50% of all victims are AA, of those, 93% are murdered by AA men.
now how does that translate into an archie bunker NRA rampage?????

You could have posted the two numbers from the 2011 FBI stats that this thread is all about. Here they are and you really don't have to apologize for your misleading post;

Rifles 323
Clubs, hammers, etc: 496
