The reviewer praises guns and gives examples of how guns are used as agents of freedom in the movie.
Quote:
"Guns are the equalizer between tyrants and those who would resist them in the world of "Django
Guns are Django's only method of killing through the whole story, barring one bundle of dynamite at the film's climax. Django only surrenders to Stephen because he runs out of ammunition. In scene after scene, equal or superior firepower is the primary factor protecting those who seek liberty"
If they enforced gun control back in those days, no slave would have access to guns, and the movie would have been over within the first few minutes. Just saying.

They did enforce gun control back then, I doubt slaves were allowed to own guns
This movie I am proud to say is a POS by any standard. It was so unfactual as to be not a good comic book. Everyone had a Henry Rifle but for the dentist, and the HR was not even invented at that time and was in very limited use by the end of the war and then by the north. There were cartridge pistols which were limited to a few 22s at that time if that. Blood would splash like someone threw it from a bucket and it was just a stupid movie even by QT standards.
I did not pay to see it I down loaded it from a torrent so I did not give a nickel to QT or the movie industry. As Mr Pink said I don't tip, I don't pay for movies.

You mean spaghetti westerns are not factual? Fist full of dollars was not a real life event?
