It is completely obvious, your ignorance of the NRA is monumental, nay, EPIC. But, OTOH, Ignorance is one of the keystones of Liberalism.
"Low Information voter" says it all.

And so the NRA calling Mr. Obama "elitist hypocrite" isn't name calling then? I guess Republican'ts really can't get anything right.

Well said, chielgirl.

Nay, it is you that can't. Callng somebody a pig or a worm is name calling. Calling an "elitist hypocrite" an "elitist hypocrite" is accurately describing the "elitist hypocrite", not Name calling as you so childishly and ignorantly opined.

Now scamper back to English101 and start paying attention.

Take a look at who's on the NRA board of directors & Grover Norquist pops up. What is Grover Norquist? A "Lobbyist.
Think real hard now>>>>What do Lobbyists Do?
Have you ever noticed how the NRA scares their members into buying more guns and ammo? Why do you think they do that?
Answer>To increase profits of the gun manufacturers.

Look at any group that is politically active and you will see lobbying taking place. It is a way to make the interests and expectations of the members of that group known to those who are in position to impact them. Especially with groups that are dedicated to protecting our rights. We seem to have to be fighting more diligently for them as time goes on.

I'm glad there are groups that look our for our rights (and yours) to make sure that attempts to deny or eliminate those rights are brought to the light of day.

NRA is a "class act". It is good the RWNJs are hanging their hats on that eminently "popular" group. NRA members should really look into who the organization is supporting, because it is not them.

For anyone else who may not be a master of the obvious:

The POTUS and his family are very high profile and all kinds of nut cases (oh no - not here on THIS forum) find the idea of harming or killing them quite attractive. However, these same nutcases have not homed in on regular Americans and their families who aren't featured on the daily news. If an average American gets shot by a seccestionist with a Bushmaster, the victim just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I can walk down the streets of my town any time I please and will be perfectly safe. However, Michele Obama can't.

Duh, are we all clear on that now?

Now you guys can return to doing something REALLY important like making wild claims about Obama's birth certificate.
^^This.
