I dont like this Mental ILL database one little bit!
I think a better solution would be to make those around the mental ill accountable if it is proven they could have gotten them help.
Make it easy for families to get those mentally ill HELP. Because as much as they have committed crimes they are also targeted for crimes against them because they are mentally ill.
Quit making it easy to get someone off on a faux mental illness claim and punish more severely those who commit crimes instead of softened crimes for mentally ill
Is it no wonder that people are afraid to seek help for mental illnesses. It should be treated no different than any other disease with encouraged treatment options.
PTSD is plaguing our military and while a mild attempt to treat does exist it is only after they are made to do so because of violence or Domestic VIolence and a jail visit.
Where is the compassion for people with sick minds that most with treatment can be helped and you would never know they were ever sick.

Judge Defends Abortion Order For Mentally Ill Woman
By Deborah Becker February 21, 2012
Deborah Becker: It seems to me that the appeals court cited two main issues with your ruling. The first was the woman’s religious views.
She described herself as very Catholic and opposed to abortion, but her parents were the ones seeking consent for the procedure because she apparently had been pregnant [two times] before and the parents have custody of one of her children.
How do you balance something like that as a judge, when you’re trying to make a decision about someone who has mental health issues, but says what her views might be, and then her family’s request?
