The NRA attacks Obama because he actually has the nerve to try to keep this shameless lobby in check. Something many people have been to scared to even contemplate. They can't believe someone actually said "NO" to them.
The Gun lobby has had to deal with the least change of any in regards to regulation. They start threatening Revolution if you even whisper the prospect of their compromise. This has nothing to do with race. This is an autonomous lobby that thinks its exempt from any federal or state authority.
Why hasn't the NRA come out as strong against actual gun grabbing presidents the way they're going after Obama...who has done NOTHING relative to gun control, and has presided over an unprecedented growth period for gun manufacturers?
