Well, considering the right wingers criticizing Obama to have shoved women and ethnic/racial minorities aside, that would be perfect. Or, perhaps you believe that no black woman could qualify.
If Barack does not recommend a WHITE MAN then he is a racist. He has already appointed two minorities to the Supreme Court.
I think the President should look into maybe appointing a transsexual too, after all they're apart of the left's base as well and deserve just as much consideration from their party.
I never said it made sense, but having power is apparently why AA can't be considered racist. Yet, ask the same people if a racist African is racist if you are in Africa or racist Japanese if you are in Japan and they go silent...
So in reality the NAACP isn't for equality. Certain positions should be reserved for certain individuals based on race and gender. I wish liberals would be honest about their true goals and stop with the obsification. Then we could have real debates.
If there is a judge that is qualified for the position I have no problem with it. However, the President shouldn't be choosing someone just because they are black. It should go to the best qualified judge available regardless of skin color.

The left is about being anti-West. It's not really about being against racism/sexism/oligarchy itself. It's more about who is doing the oppressing than it is about the oppression itself. It's why they marched in protest against apartheid in South Africa but don't care how women are treated in the Middle East. It's why they consider Che a hero even though he plotted to bomb New York. The very people he planned to murder walk around wearing shirts with his face on them. If the oppressor is anti-West then they consider that person an ally no matter what they do. It's morally bankrupt, but it's pretty clear that it's true based on observation of their actions.

A black woman with the richness of her experiences is more qualified to make decisions than a white man who hasn't lived that life.
