Inside Albany: Gun owners plan boycott of Cuomo laws - NYPOST.com

quote; Gun-range owners and gun-rights advocates are encouraging hundreds of thousands of owners to defy the law, saying it’d be the largest act of civil disobedience in state history

State officials will be nervously watching the registration figures to see how many gun owners comply, sources said.

Many of these assault-rifle owners aren’t going to register; we realize that,’’ said a Cuomo-administration source who added that officials expect “widespread violations’’ of the new law.

Ideally Cuomo and everyone who voted for this should be shot dead, but this is still a nice development. Laws that are unenforceable are not laws.

Of course. That was one of the purposes of the law: To create criminals out of thin air.

You can't rule honest men. But once you've got them breaking a law, you can pick them up any time you like, charge them any time you like, and there's nothing they can do about it. You've got them right where you want them.

New York gun owners organizing mass defiance of gun registration .

If they can get New Yorkers to do this it would be great. I hope they have what it takes to do it.

You and I are both pro 2nd amendment and I know you say this in jest but still it isn't a wise thing to say even in jest. Our system is still sound and this stupid law will in time show just how stupid it is and the politicians will get their due in a peaceful manner.

This does show something, people of one state are proposing disobedience , imagine if a law like this was federal. Mass numbers across the U.S.A would be doing this, as I said before the politicians would be voted out and the enforcement of such a thing would strain the budget of our already financial faltering government.

Guess if they cut social security and welfare more they might be able to help finance such a burden though. Oh wouldn't that go over well.
