Anyone surprised? I sure am not.
First hormones, now this. How do we ensure that our food supply is safe? And how do we weigh our health and safety against our economic and energy needs?
We talk about the legacy that we are leaving our children. Is this one that we want to leave them?
I've no idea what the answer should be, but, the potential for catastrophe from this particular situation scares me to death.

"In the midst of the domestic energy boom, livestock on farms near oil- and gas-drilling operations nationwide have been quietly falling sick and dying.
...
Exposed livestock “are making their way into the food system, and it’s very worrisome to us,” Bamberger said. “They live in areas that have tested positive for air, water and soil contamination. Some of these chemicals could appear in milk and meat products made from these animals.”"

This is NOT good. We need to pursue alt energy more aggressively. Environmental studies included along side with the exploration of alt energy.

Oh, for God's sake.

Clue: Not everything you read on the internet is true, nor is the assumption reliable.

Not concerned in the least eh?

Well alrighty then.

Of course I would much prefer that your "assumption" is correct but time will tell, won't it?

This is why I take what I read on the net with a grain of salt. In fact my father always told us: believe nothing you hear and about 1/2 of what you see: dad was one smart guy!!!!

Uh-huh.

If this showed up on your local newscast, would you believe it then? Because it does come from an actual news site.

I have to say, these are very interesting reactions to what could be a potential crisis in our food supply.
Although I guess I shouldn't be surprised coming from some of the same people who want to abolish the FDA and EPA.
Oh, well.

Would be easy to get blood samples from cattle and cows.

Call me when an actual scientific study is conducted.

On the Concern O' Meter I rate it a 5 out of 100 currently.
