It's the rectangular paper with George Washington's picture on it that's always in the way while you're looking for the ones that have Franklin's picture on them to snort through.
There is a reason why you don't see tactics like this being used across the country by far right-wing business owners: it cuts your customer base in half! (Technically 51%). Who is going to walk into his store knowing they may not be welcome? I don't just fault this guy for creating a partisan double-standard, I fault him for making a terrible business decision.
If Obama could get just one more dollar from each American (roughly 300 million), then he could take another vacation with wifey and rugrats. It might cover it.
This would only be a problem if liberals were forced to wear a yellow "L" on the armbands. Since one doesn't have to wear their ideology on their sleeves, it doesn't matter.
I wonder if the conservatives who think this was a good idea would object if he charged Christians a dollar surcharge? Would the Mormons now argue that they didn't belong to a Christian faith or would they just pay the dollar?
In the video he said something I didn't believe. He said "the three liberals paid the $1." I didn't know there were that many liberals in Utah.
If a business wants to charge me a extra dollar because I essentially supported Barack Obama then fine, I'm not going to lie about something that pointless especially if they believe this is positive discrimination since its so called "educating" us the fiscal situation of this nation. I could careless about one simple dollar if they believe this is going to get me to change my political beliefs.
