Because terrorism takes place at sports games constantly. Keep letting purple gloved perverts finger your kids and see how far this country progresses. Besides, it's TRANSPORTATION security. I suppose you think we'd all be safer if taxi drivers drove our subway systems.

I hate to do this... but I'm doing it anyway...

Any one else find it interesting that post-9/11, we so freely "gave up" our rights when it comes to being searched at airports, sports venues, etc in exchange for that small chance that we may actually avert death/injury from someone meaning to do us harm.

Yet...

We stand firm on gun rights?

They got you hook, line and sinker to be that fearful of terrorists in all aspects of your life that you welcome the TSA groping.

But who checks under your bed at night before you go to sleep ?

Well if you want to get picky..walking is a form of transportation

The terrorist have won. The fear has been instilled in America and the TSA and their "groping" and propaganda are only adding fuel to the fire.

We are becoming a country running scared.
Invading countries when they have done nothing to us but could be "potential" threats is now accepted by the public (drone invasion of Libya along with torture death of Ghadaffi)

Becoming?

Don't you think we we've been running scared since the '50s, terrified of the mere word communism ?

It's a lot easier to find references that LBJ feared appearing soft on communism than that he actually considered N Vietnam a threat to the US.

Now we just have people terrified of the word muslim instead of communist .

The equivalent of the TSA was not there. There were no checkpoints to check your citizenship and allegiance to the US were there ?
