Even if the NFL manages to devise a strategy by which it can survive, it is just the top of the pyramid when it comes to football. The base would be pee-wee leagues, high school, and then college programs just below the NFL. What happens to the NFL if the base crumbles due to lawsuits? The top of the pyramid is coming down too.

If your son showed great promise, would you want him to play pro football at any position beyond kicker or punter? I certainly would not. Forget concussions, these players suffer from permanently debilitating injuries to their joints and feel enormous pressure to take PEDs that also damage their bodies. No money in the world is worth that. I can certainly observe more retired NBA players without these conditions than retired NFL players. Then when you add in the concussions, you can see an even greater disparity in health.
