Yes, an expert says this is true. He makes mention of the fact that the second plume of smoke is caused by a "vent" hole that makes the kick lighter since he holds the gun so loosely he needs something like that. This picture was obviously an attempt at proving that he does what he obviously doesn't do.

If you've ever been skeet shooting and you shoot 50 or 100 shots in an afternoon, you'll be glad you have that type of gun. I used to shoot with guys that didn't think much of dropping $2000 on a nice shotgun just for the range. They would not hunt with that gun.

Honestly? I think it was the only time he's shot a gun...but he showed up at the range one day for a photo-op and someone gave him that gun to use for that reason--that it would kick less. Probably some 75 year old guy that needs it. If this gun wasn't there he probably would have used a different one...but still, he'd have only shot the couple of shots he needed for the photo op. But this is a gun that is probably commonly used.

He probably chose this model for the neon sight bead, not realizing that means modern and not Hello Kitty

I too would love a heavy gas recoil range gun. I'd actually like start treating trap and skeet as a sport. But since I have only one very light double barreled kick stick I use range days for hunting skills. If I do three sets my shoulder wont lift my arm easily for a few days. And this is a 20 gauge!

Call the shotgun for what it is, an assault rifle.

It is an assault weapon if it holds more than three shells and more than one in Feinstein's bill.

It looks like a trap gun to me anyway. A skeet gun has a shorter barrel. But what would Obama know, he just wanted a picture showing he's one of the guys.

This is so important that it wouldn't fit in the discussion already posted about the picture?
