Looks like John Kasich of Ohio got religion in recent days. Something tells me that all of these GOP governors that were jumping up and down about their hatred of Obamacare were just putting on a show for the election. I'm starting to doubt that they hated the bill the whole time. They really wanted this bill, and the holdouts STILL want this bill, they just don't wanna admit it. From the link:

Quote:
Generous federal funding for new Medicaid enrollees is likely the major motivating factor behind Kasich's decision to participate in the expansion, which the Supreme Court made optional for states when it upheld Obama's health care law last year. The federal government will pay 100 percent of the costs of the new beneficiaries from next year through 2016, after which the share will gradually decline until it reaches
Do you really believe that he hadn't figured that out and wasn't in favor of it right from the beginning? I don't. But of course, he had to play along in order to make it look good.

Once again: Why are you celebrating the expansion of Medicaid?

Do you understand who Medicaid represents? Why would we celebrate the existence of more of these people in our country?

Shouldn't we be celebrating a decrease in Medicaid rolls instead?

We are now going to declare POOR those who were not poor.
And this is a good thing to expand the number of "poor" people in the US ?
