More states should use Gold & Silver as payment in protest to Obama & the Federal reserve.

Seems like they are not the only states Georgia, Indiana, Montana, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

Just imagine the issues states could tackle if they didn't spend time pursuing dumb ideas.

This is great news! I will guarantee this country will not survive to see its 300th birthday. I will be dead and hone but I figure my kids and grandkids will be here and my grandkids should be old enough to fight in whatever war for freedom comes.

That is what people need money that is worthless the moment you cross state lines and of course it would also be money that would rarely be accepted in its own state.

It's fodder for the Tea Party. They know perfectly well such a bill would never get past the Virginia Senate or signed by the Governor. In the unlikely chance it did pass, VA would risk forfeiting billions in federal expenditures, kill all interstate and international commerce, and an immediate call on all VA bonds and debts in dollars. But hey, gotta keep feeding the fringes so they show up on Election Day...

Good idea so long as it is backed by something of value.

p.s. the fed hates competing counterfeiters.

Many towns and communities have their own currency. It boosts the local and state economies.I think its a wonderful idea.

At least they would have a balance budget, sound money, & price stability.

In fact their assets would be worth.
