While I find this interesting, I have to say this, along with the rest of the end of days prophecies will pass with no event.

I, for one, honor the Pope for recognizing his failing faculties and decided to resign rather than drag on for a few more years and not being able to provide leadership to the Church.

Note that the last Pope to resign, Gregory XII ("Greg"), did so in 1415, in large part, I believe, due to the number of other Popes running around Europe, each claiming to be THE pope.

Interestingly enough, I just received an email from the Vatican, asking me to visit next month. I keep telling them I am not Catholic.
