It's only racist if it's not true. Foxx is an entertainer. It is pretty hard to argue against the case that Blacks have the most talent in sports and entertainment (music) by a rather substantial edge. Then again, it may not be talent, but experience. Blacks, for example, grow up in the church singing rousing songs in the choir, while white boys get molested by the pastor and the choir siings plodding hymns that put everyone to sleep.

I figured it would anger the liberal "we are all the same" brigade, who would be disgusted at Foxx's racism.

I have no issue with what he said, but I think he's wrong. We already know who built western civilization, Europeans, and they are hands down the most talented race ever to walk this earth.
Liberals don't believe we are all the same, their entire ideology revolves around putting everyone into a box, with a descriptive label on, outlining why the group in box "A" is genetically disadvantaged or more dysfunctional then the group of people in box "B."

Because all conservatives are racist and butter wouldn't melt in the mouth of your typical self-infatuated liberal. Get with the program.

Gee, that sounds just like what you are doing - "Liberals are...blah, blah, blah"

The controversy is whether or not it needs to be a controversy, given that he is an entertainer. He's not a policy maker, he's not even a political pundit.
Seemed to be when Michael richardson made a racial comment
