Seems like the problem was handled just fine. This is the same old "Russia testing their limits" that has been going on since the days of the cold war. There was no attack here. Yet some of the same old pedantic neo-cons need to use a minor incident like this to take a jab at the president. Lame and predicable.

WHAT a load of RWNJ BULLS**T!
The only thing it shows is the Russians continue to play the same silly ass games they've been playing for at least 50 years, so much for the delusion Reagan ended the Cold War. And if you think the US doesn't play similar games you really need to wake up to reality.
EDIT: Well, on second thought, it also shows John Bolton's inablility to deal with his irrelevance.
Obviously using logic, I would surmise that the source writers wanted to show a AP pic of a Russian Bear Bomber so readers could see what one looked like without any relevance to the F-18 Hornet fighter. Apparently it didn't seem to bother NBC World News since they linked to the Washington Beacon as their source. But I guess if you could contact the Beacon if want to get your answer straight from the source.

LOL....if this were an article where a Russian Bear Bomber had crashed under odd circumstances....you would point to the inconsistency of the picture as proof that something *sinister* was going on.
How do we know that you aren't just shilling for the military industrial complex?
It probably never happened.
But I'm just asking questions and so far we've seen too many wild inconsistencies to make this story believeable.
