Fast food restaurants are often cheaper than preparing food. In fact, many fast food restaurants have dollar menus. My bf and I tested this out one day by walking around a supermarket and calculating what it would cost to prepare whatever they offer at a fast food restaurant, and the time required for preparation (time that would be best spent working at a job). While it's not the healthiest food on the planet, if I don't have time to be preparing foods daily (and I don't have kids), I have no idea how a poor working person could find the time, and can easily see how it would be easier to opt for the fast food restaurant.

It isn't the adult that doesn't work who is justified in receiving the support, it's the child.
We're kind of trapped. We give the money for the sake of the child, who is innocent. We can't force women to not have kids, because that would violate their rights. So we're locked into paying for any woman who has a child and doesn't work. Regardless of why she isn't working.
I'm curious. I was going to ask you questions about them. What's your perspective on these friends from jr high and high school?
They are no longer friends because they are trashy and I don't associate with losers like them. I did years ago because I had been friends before they became scuzz.
How often did the buses run a full route, and how many routes were there, and in which directions did they go?
Now you are just being goofy. I lived right in an inner ring suburb of Chicago and the CTA, Pace and Metra trains ran right through it so no excuse for them not to take the transportation.
You really believe everyone who is unemployed doesn't want to work?
