It's better to learn than to blindly accept that you are correct...[anonymous]

Nevertheless, it sounds like liberals really like the vindictive politics a' la Obama. So, you don't want to see the country united either? You want to see the people hurt, when there are alternatives?

So sad...as long as you get your way, no matter what the cost, eh? Isn't that what Alinsky taught -- that the means justifies the end?

As an outsider to this sub-forum, it's entertaining to watch this. While there are some thoughtful, constructive people here, they're drowned out by a bunch of right and left extremist 3 year olds in a sandbox. Don't bother me with the facts (we've already selected the ones that support our POV), my mind is made up. No chance of changing each others POV, so what's the point? Hilarious...

If we are speaking of Obama's "legacy", its "success" or "failure" will depend on who is viewing it. To the left it will be a success, to the right -- catastrophic failure for the country.

I believe he wants his legacy to be the firm establishment of this country as a Socialist America, with programs so deeply entrenched, and people so dependent, that we will never be able to do a 'fundamental transformation' back to our once great country.

Divisiveness, political fighting, digging in his heels to get more spending and more taxes (then blaming the opposition), hurting us via sequestration cuts when he COULD avoid it, if he really cared about us -- all tell me he has a larger political agenda which is obvious to anyone who can step back and look at the bigger picture.

His main job is the security of the country. The military already is pretty much descimated. He will now finish the job. "Peace through strength?" What's that?
We will be more vulnerable in an increasingly dangerous world.

What? no more protests from the left? I didn't think the left is dissuaded by the facts.
