Notice how the logic against sexual education, contraceptives, and abortion is selective.

That sounds a lot more like liberal logic to me. They're the ones always wanting to ban things.

I'm aware of generalizations made about both parties, but I really don't know what the republicans stand for. Maybe there are too many factions with a microphone which could make it difficult to send a clear message. The democrats have factions too, but it is easy for me to tell what they want and to identify the crazy groups that aren't realistic.

For example, abortion activists want the right to an abortion for women, environmentalists want regulations on business, gay activists want equal rights, unions want higher wages, etc.

What do the republicans stand for and want though? No abortion, but no safety net. Tax free charities, but no efficiency requirements, less government interference and market manipulation, but corporate subsidies are ok. If 30% of your income pays taxes, but not an income tax you aren't paying your share.

Plenty of politicians are hypocrites, but when the republicans get behind their "conservative" candidate and he doesn't work out they say he really wasn't a conservative.. If the guy you picked wasn't conservative why pick him?

That sounds like the false sense of security, the government is pushing these days.
Must be a Progressive thing, since the Tea Party is the minority.

I'm conservative but my biggest criticism is they won't stick to fiscal conservatism, they're not proactive, and they don't set good, public examples. The CEO of overstock is libertarian and supports school choice---so much so that he spends his own money on schooling around the world for kids to get a great education. That's setting an example. Funny thing is the unions hate this guy more than wal mart.

I was thinking the same thing. Liberal = ban.

The idea that these people believe that women can prevent pregnancy from rape speaks magnitudes about them. As Jindal said, "Stop being the stupid party."

How can they when they don't believe in things called facts, evidence, and science?

Facts....lets talk facts.....

When "blunt objects" killed more people in 2011 that rifles and shotguns....the logic of the left is to ban all rifles and shotguns.....

Facts suck for the left, so therefore tell lies until someone believes you!

Nice try skippy, but I could care less about your shotguns and rifles. However, I do find it amusing that you have to relate everything to guns. What a weird fetish.
