Is there much of a difference between a conservative Democrat and a liberal Republican? (party affiliation, abortion)

A conservative Democrat would be prevalent in Latino, immigrant, and African-American communities, where social conservative views on issues like gay marriage and abortion exist but financial situations lead the people to vote liberal. A liberal Republican might have lenient views on such issues, but is more concerned with his wealth to stray from the Republican party.
I think conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans are pretty common and don't get much attention (understandably).
Yes. Very often a huge difference on social issues. Liberal Republicans tend to be pro-choice whereas conservative Democrats are often pro-life. Liberal Republicans are usually urban, and often from the Northeast. They’re more open to gun control than rural conservative Democrats.
You don't know what a liberal Republican is, or a conservative Democrat, really???
No.
