Technically, Jesus was a community organizer. And the Bible was compiled centuries later. But, to address the point you responded to, the terms "left wing" versus "right wing" came about in the 18th century: The "people" wing on the left, and the aristocratic wing on the right, of the French crown.
Considering the political term Left and Right were not created until the 18th century I doubt the writer even said this let alone meant it.
