Intellectual consistency and honesty. It's the hardest thing in this life to master.
Comparing Obama to Christ are you? In other words, what's all the "selective outrage," look how people worship gods and express faith in religions, worshiping Obama is no different.

It wasn't egregious enough that they made the poor kids recite vapid adulations of The Dear Leader. No, they also had to make them recite equalky vapid derogations of Bush.

That maes it purely partisan and that makes it an outrage.

I think I've found someone who is genuinely deranged. Can you unwrap your tightly wound mind for a sec and point out where I compared Obama to Christ? I'm now mildly curious to see how your brain works.

See what I mean about that clip always driving right-wingers insane? I mean, it's actual worshiping of a president!

That's a private facility making it irrelevant to this discussion.

It's irrelevant to your small mind, yes. My objection is with the larger issue of compelling kids to recite chants, oaths, hymns and other nonsense for which they have no understanding in order to further the interests of the adults who manipulate them. I don't care if it's for political or religious purposes, it's a shameful way for adults to behave.

This is the choice of the parents to subject their children to this and that is their constitutional right whether you like it or not.

A PUBLIC school using my tax dollars is not allowed to do this, period. Politics and religion have no place in public schools other than general topics.

Well, let's see, the topic is children being forced to recite songs about Obama, and you equated that to children being forced to recite songs about their religion.... and you don't see how I made the connection to you comparing children singing abut Obama, and children singing about Christ?

Indeed. Did you miss my two previous posts in which I lamented the use of children to recite this kind of nonsense for the benefit of adults?

Can you understand why some increasingly lose patience with you? You can't even comprehend the most explicit of statements. I state something in a straightforward, direct manner, and you're absolutely incapable of comprehending it. What would you like people to do with you? Are we supposed to just be polite and humor you? What should we do when you lack the sense to just keep your mouth shut because you are incapable of comprehending even the most basic statements?
