You believe somebody is actually listening to the filibuster?
Plenty are.
You liberals are hilarious. If this were a non-liberal Administration, you would be cheer-leading such and effort as Paul is leading. But as per usual, you dolts continue to do all you can to defend Obama's Admin and attack the opposition. Hypocrites.
There's only one problem with Paul's filibuster, and that is he is protesting a non-issue. Holder has plainly stated that the Obama administration would not use a drone (or any other military equipment) to take out an American simply walking around. He has also stated that the president would use military equipment on US soil under highly improbable circumstances, such as a military invasion by a foreign country. There's really nothing controversial to this, it's just another "OMG DRONES!" hissy fits that some people have been throwing.
Oh really? Then post Holder's statement. He didn't say anything as detailed and complete as you are making out.
He has refused to answer simple questions about what they feel they have a legal right to do, dozens of times.
By the way, in 2014 when Dems retake the House yet maybe not get a 60 seat majority in Senate, this may be what the filibuster may have to look like starting in 2017. Just a preview perhaps?
What makes you think they are getting up in support of the filibuster of Brennan? Wyden for example, has already said he supports Brennan appointment.
That's what the articles are noting. Paul said he wasn't against Brennan either but rather the administration not clarifying their position on killing American's without due process.
While I would like to see him take a stronger position if he can stop this idea one way or another, I'm good with it.
Finally someone who has the character to actually filibuster, and not just indicate that they will.
“I will speak today until the president responds and says, ‘No, we won’t kill Americans in cafes.
No, we won’t kill you at home at night,’” Mr. Paul said early on in the filibuster, which began at
11:47 a.m. and by early afternoon showed no signs of slowing down.
Well, if you were listening to the filibuster, you would already have your answer
Not only that, I think as Hot Air points out, they are helping Paul out by giving his voice a break.
