Yep, keep complaining and hating on society, that's why nothing gets done.

I had a position in AIG. Now it's just a capital loss. It was criminal what they did.

What I cannot understand, and I will return with a Federalist paper quote that proves the founders did not anticipated this either when I find it, is how 90% return to office?

And its a two move checkmate puzzle to see a Goldman Sachs bailout. Let alone the vanilla AIG insurance was a salvageable unit. Turn that over to the creditors . Again, all quite understandable from the despotic perspective, but not the 90% return to office. This party looks pretty over to me.

We are bringing all of the current and future calamities on ourselves, aren't we?

Do you even bother to vote? Is calling everyone stupid the only solution?

For the last several years congress has had a approval rating less then 20% but incumbent reelection is 90% or better. There is only one way too sum this up I would say the U S is not exempt from the phrase " the ignorant unwashed masses" and the results are staring us in the face.

This. Most of our fellow countrymen really are herp derp stupid, I'm sorry to say. How else do you get a consistent >=20% Congressional approval rating yet 9 in 10 politicians are re-elected? Almost all of us complain about Congress, yet almost all of us have no problem voting in the same people time and time again. We get the government we deserve. I NEVER have voted for the incumbent in my primaries
