In addition, many workers are paid so little that they are eligible for the program. Don't like that, raise the minimum wage.

New jobs are lower waged. My sister just got a job at Walmart, her first real job ever. Temporary no benefits, and low waged.

Many people who lose a job making 70k a year then drop.to a 40k a year job, because that's all they can find.

That's part of the reason why food stamp use has gone up.

Just stop paying farmers not to farm.

Yea, because we know that the only legitimate way to buy votes is to offer tax-cuts to the wealthy, who will run negative ads against your opponent.
