Very drole. On "social" (read: sexual) issues, he's not with the God-botherers, and so in the virtual C-D world that's enough to "group him with liberals". Ergo he's a liberal.

Well done, my son - high marks for convoluted logic!

Since when was fat political?
I know a lot of fat liberals and fat conservatives. Sugar is equally addictive to both.

Argue about the imposition of attempting to make everyone healthier by limiting the size of 72 oz. Super Gulps, but this is neither a conservative nor liberal argument. It's a fat issue.

Personally, I've never been a pop sucker, so I don't care. If I buy 72 ounces of any liquid, it will be water, and only when I'm on a road trip.

His war on obesity is addressing social issues. Social issues is not limited to "sexual" issues..lol.

Big Ag is "too big to care"..they are faceless to you, a can or package in the supermarket.

Big difference between that and buying direct from the grower/producer of that product.
All they have is local and don't have a plethora of lawyers and settlements and no media attention.
It's all local word of mouth.
I don't know and I don't feel like spending the rest of the afternoon (or longer) looking it up. Those listeria-tainted cantaloupes from Rocky Ford, CO were sold at local farmer's markets as well, to give one example.

And that was no local farmer either. Farmer Market's here in texas are local and you have to fill out paperwork and they come to see your farm. Some even limit the county for who can participate.
They don't allow the big producers to show up..that defeats the purpose of "local food" doesn't it ?

What do you mean they weren't local farmers? They lived there in Rocky Ford. Don't all farmers produce crops for sale? (Other than subsistence farmers) I had a relative who grew apples for Musselman's (I think) and also sold right out of his driveway.

$5 million in revenue per year is hardly "small".

Why do Teabaggers like to pretend Bloomberg is a liberal? Their convenient little memories forget they provided the margin of victory in getting REPUBLICAN Michael Bloomberg elected over Democrat Mark Green in the first place. Typical Republican lack of responsibility for their actions

Why would you think Bloomberg is far right..aren't the far right against big government and regulations ?
Bloomberg is all about nanny government and regulations.

Bloomberg has been in D, R and I parties. That man is all over the map and will go with whatever party gets him elected into an office.
