KUChief.......I am no fan of teachers unions, no fan of much of anything to do with the state of public education in this country, and for that matter no fan of much to do with the city of Chicago. But joking about the realties of teacher/parent/student relationships is not outrageous or controversial.

Actually it is an effective technique to make a bad student be a good student which in turn makes that student a better student that later goes on to be a productive adult.

So lying to the parents makes bad students good students? It gets em a free pass. Then when the kids continue acting up the same teacher will turn around and say well hell the parents don't care waaaaaaaaaaa. Gimme a break.
