I guess we really aren't raising our boys to be men anymore. I've dealt with guys like this before, and no one lost their job and it didn't make the tv news. My boys had hockey coaches like this guy when they were younger than these college kids. Yes, the guy is a total jerk but that is life. Men have to know how to handle these situations on their own. What a bunch of little babies.
"The video was compiled by Eric Murdock, a former Rutgers director of player personnel."
I don't think it was the players who complained.
Anyway, he's fired now.
From what I heard on the radio they said it started with a player or players complaint. I'm not saying he didn't deserve to lose his job. But since he threw out an alleged "homophobic" remark it's national news.
Yeah, Murdock compiled the video and they fired him for it.
I hate wussification, but what the coach did was way over the line. What surprises me, although not as much as it should, is that the physical abuse was apparently acceptable, but the name-calling was what got the coach fired.

The guy physically assaulted players, repeatedly. There is no excuse for that. Yelling is one thing; assaulting someone takes things to a totally different level.
Game over.
