Yes. Jesus allows anybody to follow Him. Because that's like the whole point.

Jesus allowed His disciples to follow Him. They were all sinful at times. One was a greedy traitor who handed Jesus to His enemies. Yet Jesus' washed the betrayer's feet earlier that night.

And we worry about whether tGays could follow Jesus. Sheesh.

I don't know, or care.
I also don't know, or care, what captain Ahab thinks. Or the cat in the hat.

Characters out of literature should have no say in the laws of this country.
Sorry to burst your secular progressive bubble but this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles!

Did you not read the title of the thread? A tutor might be able to help.
Did you read the title of this forum section? Politics and other controversies.
If you don't want politics discussed, and only want to discuss the religious aspect, the religion section is a few sections down.

Really? Can you show me where ALL of the 10 commandments are enshrined in our laws?

Wrong again.

But maybe you have a secret set of Judeo-Christian principles that call for establishing a bicameral legislature, an independent judiciary, and the requirement of three fourths of the states to amend the Constitution.

I would assume he would have the same attitude for homosexuals. He saw nothing wrong with people of the same sex being deeply in love with each other. It would be a logical assumption that he would discourage sexuality among those who were in love with the same sex.

This is a personal point of contention that I have regarding the new bold same sex revolution taking place in society. We as a society want to sexualize everyone. I wonder what it would be like if society did not encourage gays and lesbians to become sexually active at an early age or at all for that matter?

Christ was pro-love in every way but he was not pro irresponsible sexual hedonism.

Christianity is about forgiveness of sin, not ignoring it and perpetuating it.

Read the passage of the adulterer (Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone) to understand that Christ did not say go ahead and have more affairs.
