In case you do not wish to check out the link, here are a few highlites:
1/30/01 Saddam's removal is top item of Bush's inaugural national security meeting. The president saying, "Go find me way to do this."
11/21/01 Bush collars Rumsfeld. "What is the status of the war plan? ...I want you to keep it secret."
3/2002 "------- Saddam. We're taking him out." Bush to Rice and 3 senators.
3/2002 Cheney tells Republican senators that the question no longer is if the US will invade Iraq, but when.
6/2002 "The president has already made up his mind." Rice
6/2002 Military bombings begin. A total of 349 targets are attacked prior to the beginning of war.
7/2002 Gen. Franks secretly requests $700 million for war preparations. Bush approves, unbeknownst to Congress. The money is taken from appropriations for the war in Afghanistan.
10/11/02 Congress - including all serious Democratic contenders - votes to grant Bush power to go to war.
Congress did not start the war, Bush started the war, as only he had the authority to do (which he constantly reminded everyone of in 2002.)
Lets get beyond who started it. Who funded it, and without funds it could not happen, continue.
Congress voted in favor of funding it. That shows one thing--they were in favor of it.
Tell me why is he writing a letter to Bush about the conditions of the VA, does he still think Bush is President?
he was not dying from wounds that he got there, Bush WAS the president when he signed up for the Army, why did'nt you go since you believe in them so much?

He certainly believed he did. And if he'd ordered it without an authorization vote, as he often threatened to do, and as Bush 41 promised to do in 1991--would you expect the troops to mutiny en masse? Didn't think so.
No, he believe he had the authority to ATTACK, thats not the same as starting a war. No different than Clinton and Obama who attacked numerous countries.

The story is about the current conditions for the vets.. So it doesnt matter who was President when he signed up for the army..

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.....blah blah. Doesn't change the facts.
That he picked and choosed what intelligence information to accept as long as it went for going to war with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. Everything that the solider said is true. If there is a hell Bush/Cheney will sit right next to Hitler and Stalin.

No, it shows they were cowards. I knew that ten years ago. And so what?
Sorry to the person who posted a link to mother earth.
No way would I click on that kind of nonsense.
And no way would I pay the slightest bit of attention to anyone who would.
And you also don't like the fact that this young soldier wrote a letter expressing his opinions about what he's been through.
