Even if House Republicans supported it, which they won't, it still would not pass Senate, which is won't, so it is DOA.

lol.

Saying the same thing over and over doesn't make it true.

Well.......not in rational worlds.

I don't know why coming up with a crapy budget proposal that has no chance of passing is almost 3 months passed due.

The GOP does not have to explain anything. It is the Demcrats that must explain to their voting blocs why their president is throwing them under the bus. If they don't like the answer, look for the GOP to win back the Senate in 2014.

1: People who saved for retirement are generally enjoying cost-free consumption, so I don't feel too badly for them.

2: How much did you expect min wage workers to save?

Do you think seniors living on $800 a month and paying half their income on rent are going to the bingo hall?

Do you think ANY budget would pass both chambers of Congress? They couldn't even agree on the sequester cuts, and now they cry about the results.

I'm a senior. I don't go to bingo halls. I don't even know where one is. I don't know a single other senior who goes to bingo halls.

Sounds like the person blabbering about bingo halls has preconceived, discriminatory notions about seniors. Typical for a liberal, I guess. Or maybe s/he just comes from a long line of ne'er do wells.

What do you call it when granny is living on $800 a month and paying half of that for rent?

"People who saved for retirement are generally enjoying cost-free consumption,"

It's no wonder you are in the plight you are in!
